Russian aggregate order in the pipeline

Plans to reduce staff numbers at Vozrozhdenie’s Erkilya Quarry near St Petersburg, Russia have been scrapped after the company secured a major aggregates contract. The company has signed a deal with gas pipeline builder Nord Stream to supply 1.5million cubic metres of aggregates for construction of a new pipeline for gas producer Gazprom.
