Lafarge's Dunbar Quarry in Scotland has taken delivery of two Terex TR100 rigid trucks to assist with restoration work

Two new Terex TR100 rigid dump trucks are being used to help restore Lafarge’s Dunbar quarry in Scotland.

Terex trucks assist Scottish restoration

The quarry uses the “bridge transporter” method to strip overburden to reveal the limestone reserve and restore the land behind the active extraction area. Using this method means that the quarry is never more than 1.4km long and 300m wide.

The two trucks will be used to move over 10,000tonnes of limestone and overburden each day to keep pace with production.
