In a bid to underline its commitment to sustainable building design and construction, Italcementi has announced that it is one of the main sponsors of the 23rd World Congress of Architecture.
The triennial event is being held in Italy for the first time between 29 June and 3 July in Turin and is expected to attract thousands of building professional and specialists from around the world.
According to Italcementi, innovation is a key focus of the event and it is also a strategic asset for the company along with sustainable building. Through its sponsorship Italcementi will be highlighting its development of its ITCLab which is currently under construction. The company has said that the new centre is a showcase for its sustainability capabilities and will also provide the company with state of the art research facilites.
