Italcementi and Ciments Francais have appointed Giovanni Maggiora as chief financial officer

Italcementi and Ciments Francais have announced that Giovanni Maggiora has been appointed to take over the role of chief financial officer following the departure of Giorgio Bodo.

Italian-born Maggiora, who holds a degree in Economics and Commerce, joined Italcementi in 2007 and has worked on the company’s international development projects, specifically looking at the Mediterranean rim and the Middle East. Before joining Italcementi, he worked for the Fiat group both in Italy and on an international level dealing with treasury management and mergers and acquisitions.
