UK-based lime producer Singleton Birch has announced completion of investment in new software in a bid to improve its service to customers. The company has invested in the IRIS Exchequer accounts solution and Prospectsoft CRM software. The Lincolnshire quarry produces a range of quicklime, hydrated lime, natural hydraulic lime, graded chalk and aggregates and previously used a number of management techniques for its different products. The company has said that investment in the new systems that have been tailored to its operations has streamlined its business processes. |
The new system was also tailored to create a delivery planner which allows Singleton Birch to take orders from their customers, put them into a schedule planner, assign them to a haulier and schedule delivery out on the lorries. The delivery planner also integrates with their weighbridge software as well as IRIS Exchequer, providing them with an easy to operate system.
