UK-based lime producer Singleton Birch has announced completion of investment in new software in a bid to improve its service to customers. The company has invested in the IRIS Exchequer accounts solution and Prospectsoft CRM software.

The Lincolnshire quarry produces a range of quicklime, hydrated lime, natural hydraulic lime, graded chalk and aggregates and previously used a number of management techniques for its different products. The company has said that investment in the new systems that have been tailored to its operations has streamlined its business processes.

The new system was also tailored to create a delivery planner which allows Singleton Birch to take orders from their customers, put them into a schedule planner, assign them to a haulier and schedule delivery out on the lorries. The delivery planner also integrates with their weighbridge software as well as IRIS Exchequer, providing them with an easy to operate system.
