The CJ208 is the smallest in the CJ200 jaw crusher range
Sandvik has announced that it has added the CJ208 jaw crusher to its CJ200 range and, although it is the smallest model in the line-up, the company has said that it can be used in both mobile and stationary applications.
According to Sandvik, the all-welded frame for the new model means that although it is lightweight it still offers good performance levels. The unit can be bolted upright for stationary applications or at for mobile crushers.
The jaw weighs 7.1tonnes and has a feed opening of 770mm by 510mm, and with a closed side setting range of 30 to 150mm, is designed to produce 0-40mm final size material.
The CJ208 is available with a range of optional equipment such as automatic bearing lubrication, feed hopper, intermediate protection plate and a complete drive package, including motor, bracket, pulley, belt and flywheel/belt protection.
Energy consumption was a key part of the design and the CJ208 only requires a 55kW motor to crush hard material.
