To provide further support to their expanding dealer network and customer base across the north of the UK, Case Construction Equipment has appointed Gordon Wallace as business manager for Scotland and northwest England.

Wallace, who has worked for Case for the past 18 years, progressing from demonstration operator in the first couple of years through to his current role as business manager for central Asia, will take up his new position on 1 October 2015.

He brings a wealth of experience to his new position having more than 40 years’ experience working in the construction and plant sector. He first started out in the construction industry as a plant operator before becoming an owner operator/contractor.

Based in Banffshire, northeast Scotland, Wallace’s new role will include working with and providing further support to the fast growing Case customer and dealer network of Scotland and the north west of England. Of his new appointment, he said: “I’m looking forward to taking up this new role and working with our dealers and customers across these regions. Having come from an owner/operator background, I have a good understanding of what customers look for and need when making investments into equipment and more importantly after sales service.”

Scott Freeman, Case business director for UK and Eire, added: “We are pleased to have Gordon joining our UK team. I am confident his experience will be hugely beneficial in further developing our business and supporting dealers in these rapidly expanding regions.”
