First published01/06/2016
Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe is continuing to expand its German dealer network with the appointment of Thomas Baumaschinen. The company will improve the servicing of the manufacturer’s customers in the western North Rhine-Westphalia region of the country.

Established in 2006, Thomas Baumaschinen offers a range of construction solutions to its customers including sales and rental of a wide range of machinery, maintenance, repairs and financial services, and has a large range of spare parts on-site. Despite its relative infancy, the company is said to have built up an excellent reputation in its territory as a reliable service partner that takes the utmost care of its customers.

Joining Kobelco Construction Machinery as an authorised dealer partner will enable Thomas Baumaschinen to enhance its current range with Kobelco’s full line-up of premium crawler excavators, and will enable the company to continue its expansion within the region.

Max Thomas, managing director of Thomas Baumaschinen, said: “We are very happy to be appointed as an authorised Kobelco dealer – the manufacturer is renowned for its high quality and reliable machinery. We will stock the full range of Kobelco construction equipment and look forward to taking delivery of our first excavators soon.”

Philippe Le Bourhis, general manager EU Maghreb Russia CIS Sales & Field Marketing Department, said: “We are delighted to welcome another new dealer to our German network. Although Thomas Baumaschinen is a young company, the team is dynamic and highly motivated with ambitious plans – just like Kobelco. The appointment also enhances our own coverage of Germany, meaning that we are able to service our German customers better than ever before.”

The continued expansion of this authorised Kobelco dealer is said to underline Kobelco Construction Machinery’s long-term commitment to Europe.
