Dangote Cement, the Nigeria-headquartered multinational cement giant, is set to deliver the first batch of 42.5 R grade cement from its new cement plant at Mfila near Brazzaville, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in July 2017.

The US$350 million facility was completed in May 2017 and is reportedly undergoing test runs. The 1.5million tonnes/year plant will join other Congo-run plants run by CIMAF, Sonocc and Forspal.
