CRH posts 33% increase in pre-tax profit for 2011

Ireland-based building materials group CRH increased its pre-tax profit by 33% in 2011 compared to 2010.
The Group recorded pre-tax profits of €771million last year, compared to €534million in 2010. The company also saw its operating profit increase by 25% in 2011 to €871million and posted a year-on-year rise of 5% in revenue from €17.1billion to €18billion.
