The assets include three strategically located ready-mix concrete plants and one portable plant to service the San Antonio metropolitan area and surrounding areas.

Scott Ducoff, Cemex USA Texas regional president, says: “By acquiring these facilities, Cemex will be able to deliver our high-quality products that many Texans are already familiar with to satisfy the high demand of customers of one of the state’s most dynamic markets.”

Cemex’s newly acquired operations sit roughly 25 miles from its Balcones Cement Plant and Balcones Quarry in New Braunfels, Texas.

Cemex USA president Jaime Muguiro says: “Cemex is proactively looking for opportunities to grow our operations in the US and adapting to meet the needs of our customers.”
