LiuGong UK appoints key account manager for Europe

Based out of the UK, he will be responsible for developing business in the UK and Europe with LiuGong’s global key accounts in mining and quarrying. 

Before joining LGUK, Ternent was regional manager at Babcock for seven years, where he was responsible for aftersales to key account quarry groups in the UK. He also served as regional plant manager for Tarmac for nine years with the responsibility of effectively running their fleet of equipment for the North of England & Scotland. 

He started his career with Caterpillar as an apprentice before moving onto field service and then into depot management, where he was responsible for Finning’s northern branch operation, with particular emphasis on mines, quarries & waste.
