SMT Ghana showcases SDLG equipment at customer open day

Distributor SMT Ghana opened its doors to existing and potential clients to showcase a wide array of products from China-based quarrying, construction and mining equipment company SDLG.

The open day held in Accra on 24 September featured wheeled loaders, compactors, backhoe loaders and motor graders, among other equipment from SDLG which is owned by Volvo Construction Equipment.

SMT Ghana says it has invested in a number of key areas. These include the SMT Network, with four branches across the country (Accra, Tamale, Tarkwa, and Kumasi) to ensure customers are closer to the product and can easily access after-sales service.

SMT has dedicated Sales and Service teams to guaranteeing the availability of genuine spare parts. It has also invested in logistics and good technicians to drive productivity. In addition its training academy is readily available to train customers before products are delivered.

SMT Ghana MD Alex Dutamby thanked customers for their contributions that led to SMT Ghana being awarded SDLG dealership of the year 2019 by Volvo Construction Equipment.

Felix Ofosu-Kontoh, sales director SMT Ghana, said that Volvo thrives on four important pillars: quality, safety, environment and innovation, making SDLG product a trusted brand to rely on for maximum productivity.
