NSSGA member testifying at EPW hearing

NSSGA works to represent the interests of members of the US aggregates industry in Washington, DC

National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) member Gary W. Johnson, vice president of land & quarry operations at Granite Construction Co., is participating in a hearing held by the US Senate Committee of Environment and Public Works on the implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, examining private sector perspectives.

Johnson will be among several major industry figures speaking during the event at the Dirksen Senate Office Building starting at 10 am EST on Wednesday 30 November. He is due to be joined by Dave Bauer, president & CEO of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association; Matt Stanberry, managing director of Highland Electric Fleets; Johnathon Levy, chief commercial officer at EVgo Services; and Ali Mills, president of Plum Contracting, the Associated General Contractors of America.

Johnson will share a first-hand perspective on the value aggregates provide to communities across the US and the need to effectively implement the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act as passed by Congress.

The NSSGA works to represent the members of the US aggregates industry in Washington, DC. Through such opportunities, NSSGA educates policymakers and builds relationships that will provide long-term success for the industry and America's miners.
