Some 450 leading international exhibitors will be at the biennial Hillhead international event for the quarrying, recycling and heavy construction industries, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary with another sell-out exhibition.
Taking place from 26-28 June, exhibitors will show off their latest plant, equipment, materials and services, including many new product launches.
All sectors of the extractive and heavy construction industries will be covered, giving the projected 20,000 visitors from the UK and overseas an opportunity to see the plant and equipment in action in a working environment at the
The machine is suitable for many applications from recycling to hard rock, with the crushing component weighing approximately 35tonnes. The 1385 (1300 x 850) jaw crusher comes complete with hydraulic drive and reversing action and features a feed hopper manufactured from hardox, a two-deck pre-screen and a crusher bypass system.
APR will also show its Giporec R131FDR GIGA, a high performance impact crusher system.crushing, screening and drilling equipment at the show, the first since it announced at Bauma it was acquiring Extec Screens and Crushers and
Among the new products will be the latest CMH 4800i mobile cone crusher with its closed-circuit screen arrangement; the ATH 150 hydraulic cutter head equipped with Sandvik carbide point attack picks for optimum life; the Merlin VSI rotor, which is included in the Hurricane crusher, and a preview of the next version of the ASRi crusher control system, which will incorporate more functionality and provide even more management information.
Extec Screens and Crushers will display six machines including the brand new S-6 Doublescreen and C-10+ jaw crusher.
Among the various mobile crushing and screening machines from Fintec will be the new Fintec 1440 impact crusher, designed for secondary or fine crushing of softer rocks as well as various demolition and recycling applications. It is equipped with a Sandvik PR301D horizontal-shaft impact crusher, and offers throughputs from 300 to 350tonnes/h.

Brammer 'promoting best practice'
This knowledge, it claimed, helps it understand the industry's special requirements and production processes, along with availability, energy conservation, and health and safety issues.
Highlighting Brammer's dedication to promoting best practice will be a range of products and services demonstrating how it provides customers with total shaft solutions for industrial fans used in the cement and aggregates industry.
"These are an essential part of most plant installations, but can cause expensive downtime if not properly maintained," said Brammer.Terex Pegson's new X400 primary tracked jaw range crusher, available in hydraulic adjust XA400 and hydraulic release XR400 versions, is ideal for quarrying and recycling applications, and has a highly aggressive crushing action with hydraulic crusher setting adjustment.
The Powerscreen Horizon 6203 Recirculating model and new Chieftain 2100X will be working in unison with the Terex Pegson XA400, 1300
On the X400, the high-swing jaw eases material entry into the crushing chamber. The hydraulic adjustment has been developed to enable crusher setting changes to be made quickly and easily over a wide range. The hydraulic release machine is designed to alleviate problems associated with crusher overload which can be encountered when tramp metal enters the crushing process, particularly prevalent in recycling construction and demolition waste.
"There are numerous innovative features on the X400 series to improve productivity and enhance maintenance procedures," said Terex Pegson.

UK Pump launch for ITT Flygt
ITT Flygt, the fluid handling and control solutions specialist, will launch a new range of six pumps, the 2600 series, designed to meet increasingly tough performance and environmental demands.
Pumps in the range cover almost any application for sites of every size in quarrying, construction, mining and other tough environments.
All models use new materials in innovative designs, and feature Flygt's patented Dura-Spin hydraulic system. Outputs range from 0.75-18kW.
Caterpillar/Finning offers a range of machines and solutions built for the application and dedicated to the needs to the aggregates recycling and waste industries.
Making their debuts will be the new F-Series off-highway rigid dumptrucks, H-Series wheel loaders, and C-Series excavators and rehandling equipment. Caterpillar equipment demonstrators will be running live demonstrations four times a day to show operators how to get the best out of these and other Cat machines in order to optimise productivity while lowering owning and operating costs.
The company said: "Whatever the application, customers always have the assurance of knowing that each Caterpillar package meets all the latest EC regulations and emission legislation."
Weighbridge data collection
Avery Weigh-Tronix's new Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology is designed to improve the speed, ease and accuracy of weighbridge data collection.
Developed in conjunction with ADT, the UK provider of electronic fire and security solutions, the system is a closed circuit television (CCTV)-based application that uses specialist cameras to identify, og and monitor vehicle number plates.
Visitors to the stand can also view the company's new TouchDoc driver-operated weighbridge console, a compactor usage monitoring system, a steel Bridgemont weighbridge mounted on tall pillar stands and a variety of weighing hardware and software solutions. All machines on
