8627 Laurini Officine Meccaniche has celebrated the start-up of a new Vulcano 2.0 screening machine in the company’s new colours: green, grey and Sandy.

This, says the Italian company, will characterise the future production from the company.

Vulcano, a vibrating screen set up on a trucked self-propelled undercarriage, is remotely-controlled, and has interchangeable screen grids and speed adjustable apron feeder.

The side-to-side rear conveyor belt is retractable and foldable.

The start-up ceremony took place at the Metanodotto Cervignano Mortara (Cervignano Mortara pipeline) in Pavia, 35km south of Milan.

According to Laurini Officine Meccaniche, there are now 120 Vulcano units around the world: 34 in Italy; 35 in other European countries; 18 in the United States; 24 in Mexico, four in South America, and five in Australia.

Vulcano has been on the market since 2000, but has constantly evolved in a customer-oriented perspective, giving rise in 2017 to the Smart and XXL versions.

“Vulcano is our best-selling machine worldwide and we chose it to bring in our new colours around the world for the first time,” says Marco Laurini, Laurini Officine Meccaniche’s president.

“These colours are the symbol of our continuous renovation and our corporate identity that is more and more strong and defined, and keeps us up with the times.”
