Atlas Copco Ireland appoints Mathijs Van Mullem to service operations role

Atlas Copco Ireland has appointed Mathijs Van Mullem as service operations manager for compressor technique.

Van Mullem has worked for Atlas Copco Airpower as a quality assurance engineer/team leader since 2017. He also holds a master’s degree in industrial sciences, electromechanics, and automotive engineering from the University of Antwerp and a bachelor’s degree in car technology.  

He says his main goals as service operations manager are to keep and to improve the balance between customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

"I will do this by ensuring that we operate as efficiently as possible, whilst working very closely with our team of dedicated field service engineers," Van Mullem adds. "We will focus on continuous development of both existing and new products in order to ensure our team have the most up to date training."

Eric Forde, business line manager for CTS, commented: "Mathijs will offer us excellent technical ability to support our team in the field. He has a mix of very strong mechanical and electrical experience, this coupled with his drive and enthusiasm will see him become a great addition to a very strong team."
