CEO Dino Maggioni leaves Marangoni Group

Dino Maggioni has left his position as CEO of Italian global off-highway retread tyre maker Marangoni. The Italian company said in a statement that his departure came after its board of directors had “reviewed the strategical directions” that were assigned to Maggioni when he became CEO in October 2016. It added that Maggioni had consequently chosen to leave his position as CEO as well as all other positions within the group.

Dino Maggioni has left his position as CEO of Italian global off-highway retread tyre maker 6214 Marangoni.

The Italian company said in a statement that his departure came after its board of directors had “reviewed the strategical directions” that were assigned to Maggioni when he became CEO in October 2016.

It added that Maggioni had consequently chosen to leave his position as CEO as well as all other positions within the group.

Chairman Vittorio Marangoni and vice-president Giuseppe Marangoni have jointly taken over the role of interim CEO with immediate effect.

The company said it thanked the former CEO "for his work in the past two years of collaboration dedicated to the group’s turnaround".
