Marangoni and Borrachas start retreading partnership

Retread tyre suppliers 6214 Marangoni and Borrachas Vipal have announced a strategic partnership agreement aimed at increasing the synergies and productivity, strengthening the industrial and commercial organisation of both groups.

The two companies claim the new partnership will lead to "the creation of the largest global independent player in the tyre retreading sector."

The cooperation between the pair will be developed in 2019, with the first phase involving activities in the Americas.

Vittorio Marangoni, chairman of the Marangoni Group, commented: “We are pleased to finally be able to announce this agreement, which is the first result of the new strategic lines of development we recently adopted.”
