Robit strengthens its management team

Robit, the Finland-headquartered global supplier of drilling consumables for applications in underground and surface mining, quarrying, construction, geotechnical and well drilling, has made four key management appointments.

George Apostolopoulos is the company's new vice president of global sales; Adam Baker has been appointed vice president down the hole; Jorge Leal is vice president top hammer, and Ville Pohja is the new vice president geotechnical. Robit chief financial officer Arto Halonen, Robit Group CEO Tommi Lehtonen, and human resources director Jaana Rinne remain management team members.

Robit CEO Lehtonen said: "The strengthened management team further supports the implementation of the strategy towards the company's long-term strategic targets."
