The ACI says the conference will feature the ways FRP is being used in the concrete industry and will highlight the practical application of how the material can extend the service life of concrete.

Conference presentations will focus on projects where risk of corrosion leads to use of FRP, case studies of uses of FRP in concrete projects internationally, how FRP composites are used for seismic strengthening and coastal construction using FRP to reinforce concrete.

Presenters will include Tarek Alkhrdaji (vice president of engineering with Structural Technologies), Antonio Nanni (professor of civil engineering at the University of Miami) and Peter Renshaw (business development director for Pultron Composites).

Attendees of the conference will be eligible to receive continuing education credits and will have access to presentation recordings.

Registration is now open for virtual conference taking place from the 1-2 June.
