CEMEX contributes to reconstruction of Notre-Dame

643 CEMEX is contributing to the reconstruction of Notre-Dame Cathedral after the devastating fire that partly destroyed and ravaged the building, including the iconic church’s roof and spire.

The building materials company says it will match the donations made by its employees in France to Fondation du patrimoine (French Heritage Foundation), a private organisation dedicated to saving French cultural and natural heritage.

CEMEX adds that it will also assist in the reconstruction efforts with a range of technical and specialised products & services, by making its research & development centres based in Biel and Paris available, and by providing assistance with material specifications and mix designs through its laboratory services.
