The Quarto d'Asti plant has obtained the Gold Level certification and joins the previously certified factories at Berlia, Orbassano and Santena.

Italy-based Unical - a subsidiary of Buzzi Unicem - says the achievement confirms its responsible management of the entire production chain, which is aimed at guaranteeing the environmental, economic and social sustainability of its products.

The CSC scheme covers the entire supply chain, the organisation of the concrete production company and products with specific criteria and returns an assessment that provides information on the level of sustainability of the company: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.
