Valme, which designs and manufactures concrete distribution pipes and accessories, has completed its purchase of fellow Italian company Pamec for an undisclosed sum.

Pamec specialises in the design and manufacture of components and equipment for concrete pumping lines.

Valme says the acquisition of 100% of Pemec's share capital will expand its offering in the design and production of components and equipment for concrete pumping lines.

It adds that the transaction, first announced in April, will also support its creation of an international group specialising in the manufacture of components and equipment for pumping lines. Valme says the international group will serve three sectors: high-end double thickness solutions; standard solutions for ground pumping; and components, equipment, and accessories (couplings, deviators, gate valves, and distribution lines) for concrete pumping systems and other highly-abrasive materials.

As part of the Pamec acquisition Valme has also purchased the Acme brand, of which it is now the sole owner. Valme says the aim is to relaunch the Acme brand within its own product offering.

“Now, our clients can rely on even more specialised expertise and a wider range of products and services that can meet all the market requirements thanks to two production plants of over 15,000 m2 of covered surface, which ensure high quality standards and reduced delivery times," said Davide Cipolla, Valme’s sole director.

Valme was established in 1985 and is an international player in the design and manufacture of concrete distribution pipes with standard and high-end double thickness solutions and accessories, such as couplings, gaskets, and lines.
