After just completing a successful sale at its Maltby (UK) site on September 27, Ritchie Bros. will be conducting an additional single-consignor auction for McCabe Earthworks on October 10th.

The Irish quarrying contractor is going through a fleet realignment process and has chosen to work with Ritchie Bros. to sell machinery they no longer need. Nearly 60 items are included in this unreserved auction, including crushing plants, dump trucks, excavators and more items from popular brands.

Highlights include
•    A 2021 Metso Lokotrack LT1213 Tracked Impact Crusher Plant
•    Two 2022 Komatsu HM400-5E0 Articulated Dump Trucks
•    A 2018 Metso LT300HP Tracked Cone Crusher
•    A 2019 McCloskey V80 VSi Impact Crusher
•    Two 2021 Cat 972M Wheel Loaders
•    And many other quality items

Pioneering mobile crushing services to the quarrying and mining industries in Ireland in the early 1990s, McCabe Earthworks Ltd. is a well-established family business involved in several high-level projects over the years. The cooperation with Ritchie Bros. came as the company is now refocusing its business as a quarry operator and manufacturer of aggregates, concrete products, and masonry units.

“When we decided to shift our business focus, we wanted to make sure that our quality equipment, including our specialized plants, would be exposed to a global audience. Ritchie Bros. is well-known for its unparalleled global buying network and expertise in handling the sale of heavy machinery. For us it was the obvious choice for this landmark moment of our fleet re-alignment,” commented John McCabe, Managing Director of McCabe Earthworks Ltd.

All the items are located in Ritchie Bros.’ site in Maltby (UK) and available for personal viewing and inspection. What makes this sale unique, is that the items will be sold in a live auction with auctioneers. Bidding takes place either online via the Ritchie Bros. website or in person at the Ritchie Bros. Site in Moerdijk, The Netherlands, where another live auction event (Moerdijk Live Xperience) takes place in the same week. Registering to bid is free.
