UK construction materials supplier Aggregate Industries has appointed Victoria Smith as general manager of its Express Asphalt team. UK construction materials supplier Aggregate Industries has appointed Victoria Smith as general manager of its Express Asphalt team.
Smith has worked within the Aggregate Industries business for over 16 years, having begun her career in internal sales. She previously worked for Express Asphalt as a business manager before moving on to Aggregate Industries’ ready mix concrete and screed offer.
As part of her new role, she will be based at the Aggregate Industries office in Croft, Leicestershire and be responsible for 37 Express Asphalt sites across England and Wales.
Smith commented: “I am excited to take over the leadership of the Express Asphalt division and to re-join such a dedicated and motivated team that really does put customers at the forefront of everything that it does.”
The Express Asphalt service includes a customer ‘click and collect’ facility, with guaranteed turnaround of 30 minutes for single loads of standard products. The service enables customers to order asphalt, or tools and equipment, and pick it up from any one of the 41 Express Asphalt depots in England, Wales and Scotland.
