Aggregate Industries, a leading UK construction materials supplier, has appointed a new managing director for Spadeoak, its specialist contracting business.
Victoria Smith, who has been with Aggregate Industries for more than 15 years, will take up her new management position from 2 November 2020. She will also be joining the senior leadership team of Aggregate Industries’ Contracting Division.
Working within the construction industry for nearly two decades, Victoria brings a wealth of experience, initially starting her Aggregate Industries career in internal sales. Most recently she was the general manager of the Express Asphalt business.
Now joining the Spadeoak team, which delivers world-class sports, civils and surfacing products to the education, retail, commercial and residential sectors, Victoria’s role will involve providing a clear direction of growth for the successful business, putting its customers and team at the forefront.
Victoria said: “I’m delighted to be taking on this new chapter in my career at Aggregate Industries and working together as a team to not only navigate the current challenges facing the sector but also capitalise on the exciting opportunities in the coming years.
