Ammann America is to highlight its ACP ContiHRT and ABA UniBatch asphalt plants and compaction equipment at World of Asphalt in Nashville, Tennessee, from 29-31 March.
Ammannsays the ACP ContiHRT, a continuous plant, separates the heating and mixing processes and yields higher quality asphalt than conventional methods.
The system is expected to enable adjustment of mixing times, providing flexibility and significantly reducing emissions.
According to Ammann, plant operators can also modify recipes without stopping and starting, a significant cost-saver.
The ABA UniBatch, a batch plant, also utilises Ammann’s separate heating and mixing processes.
It is among the lower-cost alternatives and is easy to operate and maintain, the company adds.
The plant is customisable and flexible and can be integrated into existing sites when needed.
Both plants employ Ammann’s as1 Control System.
Ammann’s light compaction equipment includes rammers, vibratory plates, add-on compactors and trench rollers. Heavy equipment includes single-drum, tandem and pneumatic rollers.
The company insists these machines provide efficiency through technology and an ability to direct more force toward the target and away from the machine, minimising the passes required to reach compaction goals.
