Amrize has expanded its ‘Made in America’ initiative to include four more US cement plants across its operational network.

The ‘Made in America’ label guarantees that the cement is made in the US including all aspects from the raw materials to the processing, manufacturing and complying with US performance standards.

The initiative was first launched across selected Amrize sites in 2025, including Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; Midlothian, Texas; Devil’s Slide, Utah; Holly Hill, South Carolina; and Portland, Colorado. Now the project has been expanded to include additional plant in Ada, Oklahoma;  Alpena, Michigan; Joppa, Illinois; and Paulding, Ohio.

“As America’s builders prioritise domestic materials, our ‘Made in America’ label offers our customers the confidence of US performance standards along with reliable supply at scale, while supporting local jobs and communities,” Amrize senior vice president of US cement and supply chain Patrick Cleary said.

“With our national scale, local expertise and high-performance cement, we’re able to be the partner that our customers can depend on for their most important building projects.”

By its own estimate, Amrize operates around 600 sites and employs more than 11,000 people in 50 states. The company is continuing to invest in its operations to increase production. This includes upgrades at Ste. Genevieve, Missouri and Midlothian, Texas, as part of Amrize’s planned $900 million investment across its operations in 2026.
