Amrize has launched a new “Product of Canada” cement label — designed specifically to support Canadian builders.

The North American building materials provider says its new label addresses the Canadian construction sector’s growing demand for supply certainty, local sourcing and performance assurance,

Announced in Toronto, the new label guarantees that the cement is manufactured in Canada in accordance with applicable legislative and performance standards. It provides builders and infrastructure partners with clear assurance of Canadian-made quality, local jobs and reliable domestic supply.

The label rollout begins at Amrize’s flagship plant in Exshaw, Alberta — the largest cement plant in Canada — and at its Bath, Ontario operation, with additional facilities to follow as Amrize expands capacity across its national network, from St. Constant, Quebec to Exshaw, Alberta.

With five cement plants and approximately 450 sites nationwide, Amrize says it is Canada’s top cement producer, supported by a highly efficient distribution network serving customers in every province. We are also investing to increase production capacity to strengthen domestic supply resilience.

For over a century, Amrize – which spun off from Holcim in June 2025 – has helped build many of Canada’s most recognized projects, including the Rogers Centre in Toronto, the Confederation Bridge, the Champlain Bridge, as well as major aviation hubs such as Vancouver International Airport and Calgary International Airport.
