Astec has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire CWMF Corporation.
CWMF Corporation (CWMF) has specialised in manufacturing portable and stationary asphalt plant equipment and parts, primarily distributed in the Midwest, South-Central, and Great Lakes regions of the US.
Astec chief financial officer Brian Harris said the acquisition was expected to close in the first quarter of 2026. CWMF has annual revenues of around $50 million, with the company expecting the transaction to be “accretive from day one.”
Astec chief executive officer and president Jaco van der Merwe said the acquisition would be a strong addition to Astec’s operations.
“The pending CWMF acquisition is consistent with our disciplined growth strategy. Based on the extensive product and manufacturing knowledge of our combined teams, we anticipate integration to be efficient,” he said.
“Our organisations are a strong cultural fit, and we look forward to having the CWMF employees join the Astec team.”
