Atlas Copco has acquired the German compressed air distributor and service provider Kawalek Kompressoren for an undisclosed sum.
Privately-owned Kawalek Kompressoren has 10 employees and is located in Berlin. The company has a stable market position in the surrounding region.
The company will become part of the service division within Atlas Copco’s compressor technique business area.
“Kawalek Kompressoren has a long history of being a successful distributor and has a strong customer base consisting of many small and medium-sized companies in the region”, said Vagner Rego, business area president compressor technique at Atlas Copco.
“This acquisition will allow us to stay close to the customers as well as increase our market presence in Berlin and the surrounding area.”
