Bay-Lynx Manufacturing UK (Bay-Lynx) has supplied high-quality volumetric concrete mixers, parts, and services for over 13 years. The company operates from its impressive head office and manufacturing facility in Runcorn, northwest England.

Recently, Bay-Lynx introduced the claimed world’s first dedicated Liquid-Screed volumetric mixer, and In 2025, Frumecar Drum Mixers will also be added to its range of offerings.

In November 2024, Bay-Lynx opened its second UK location in Basingstoke. This facility is designed to serve the growing demand in southern England. The opening was celebrated with a successful open day, where contractors, customers, and industry professionals came together to see firsthand the full range of equipment and services Bay-Lynx offers.

This new facility will enable quick-turnaround parts, repairs, and maintenance services.

With drive-in workshop facilities, customers can bring their equipment on-site for repairs, helping minimise downtime and return to work quicker. Basingstoke will also host the full range of Bay-Lynx equipment.

“The opening of our Basingstoke location is a significant moment in our growth plans for the UK and European markets,” said Michael Barr, managing director of Bay-Lynx Manufacturing UK.

“This facility allows us to expand our reach and allow our customers to have a more localised service with our two locations, North and South. It’s all part of our commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience and meeting industry needs.”

Bay-Lynx is also delighted to announce that, in 2025, it will add Frumecar Drum Mixers to its impressive product offering. These mixers will complement Bay-Lynx’s existing volumetric mixer lineup and further develop the company’s ability to offer concrete mixing solutions across all applications.

“Adding Frumecar Drum Mixers to our range is exciting for us,” Barr added. “We’re constantly looking for ways to provide our customers with the best, most innovative equipment. With many Volumetric operators now adding batching plants to their businesses, it made sense for us to fulfil the need for drum mixers alongside everything we do. With Frumecar’s renowned reputation for quality, this partnership will allow us to offer even more options to meet the diverse needs of the industry.”

The Basingstoke facility will have a dedicated service department, ensuring quick access to parts, maintenance, and repairs. The site’s drive-in repair service will allow customers to bring their equipment directly for on-site fixes.

“We know how important it is for our customers to keep their operation running smoothly,”
Barr said. “Our goal is always to deliver the best possible service, whether for new equipment sales or ongoing maintenance and support.”
