BKT, the Indian-based global off-highway tyre manufacturer, says it has conceived and developed several tyre ranges that perfectly suit loaders.

“Continuous innovation by BKT in terms of materials employed and technical tyre engineering are a guarantee for continuously improved performance in loading and material transport operations,” says the company.

“Loaders are employed in a variety of different applications. This is exactly the reason why BKT has designed an extensive range of products that perfectly suit this type of equipment’s different usage conditions.

“Top in the list in this line-up is the BK-Loader 53, an aramid-belted tyre designed for loaders in industrial applications.”

BKT says that a special tread pattern, which ensures outstanding lateral stability and its extra depth, offering resistance against wear, cuts and punctures, makes the tyre ideal for recycling operations.

Excellent traction, handling and stability are said by BKT to be features of Earthmax SR 31, a multi-ply steel-belted radial tyre, specifically engineered for loaders, while for applications in the construction sector, BKT says its top product is Earthmax SR 25, an all-steel radial tyre with a special non-directional tread design. For loading operations on tricky terrains, the company says it offers its Rock Grip L4.

“Designed for loaders operating in heavy loading applications is XL GRIP. It has been specifically conceived to minimise the risk of cuts and punctures,” says BKT. Another product, Snow Trac, is for loaders operating on the road in severe climate conditions, particularly ice and snow.

“A special compound, which offers extraordinary cut resistance, is the distinguishing feature of Loader Grip, a cross-ply tyre that is ideal for loading and levelling operations in both industrial and OTR applications,” says BKT, which also points to its new EM 937 for excavating and loading operations.
