Automechanika Dubai is being held from today (Tuesday) until 3 May at the Dubai World Trade Center (Stand D12, Sheikh Saeed Hall 1), and is the leading international trade show for the automotive service sector in the Middle East.
Around 2,000 exhibitors and over 30,000 visitors from 136 countries are expected at the event.
The debuting Earthmax SR 47 (E-4), displayed in Dubai in size 21.00 R 33, is an all-steel radial OTR tyre specifically designed for rigid haul trucks operating in the toughest transport applications such as rock quarrying.
Thanks to its all-steel casing along with the extra strong steel belts, this tyre features exceptional stability and excellent resistance to snags and punctures,” says BKT.
“The E-4 tread depth and the tread design ensure excellent wear resistance even on long hauls, thus reducing downtime and increasing productivity.”
BKT says that Earthmax SR 47 is available in standard and cut-resistant compounds for extended durability.
To provide an overall picture of its extensive Earthmax series, BKT is exhibiting also Earthmax SR 33, size 395/85 R 20, a radial tyre for multi-purpose trucks, along with the Earthmax SR 30, exhibited in size 15.5 R 25, a dual-purposed radial tyre for wheeled loaders, motor graders and tele-handlers.
In addition to the extensive Earthmax range, BKT is taking to Dubai a significant selection representing its multiple tyre ranges for port, mining, industrial and construction applications, including the Portmax PT 93, size 280/75 R 22.5 (specifically engineered for terminal tractors); Multimax MP 519 in size 7.50 R 16 (suitable for light trucks in all transport applications), and the TR 463, exhibited in size 16.9-28, for backhoe loaders and industrial tractors exhibited at.
Completing the exhibit are the Skid Power Plus, displayed in size 10-16.5, and specifically designed for skid steers; Maglift Eco in size 7.00-12, a special forklift tyre, and Airomax AM 27 for construction applications with cranes.
