Breedon Group looks set to secure its latest acquisition in the Dublin market with quarrying and concrete business Booth Precast Products Limited.
Booth has been a key presence in the Ireland construction market for more than 25 years. The company, headquartered in County Laois, will expand Breedon’s presence in Ireland.
Breedon Ireland chief executive officer Declan Carr said the deal will help Breedon secure scarce mineral reserves as well as more concrete operations.
“We look forward to completing this transaction and welcoming the Booth team into Breedon as we continue to invest in strengthening our operations and delivering a high-quality service for our customers,” he said.
“This acquisition will help deliver our strategy, providing us with a valuable source of aggregates to supply the Dublin market, and further expands our concrete business.”
The acquisition is subject to Irish competition approval and is expected to occur during the first half of 2026.
