Bruks Siwertell has delivered a road-mobile ship unloader, which it says promises to secure environmentally friendly cement handling for US company Ozinga.
Brukssays the 5000 S road-mobile unloader offers totally enclosed cement handling operations, with the unit delivering a continuous rated unloading capacity of 300t/h for vessels up to 5,000 dwt.
Ken Upchurch, vice president sales and marketing at Bruks, says: “This isOzinga‘s first Siwertell ship unloader. The Ozinga team invested time in researching various types of unloading equipment and concluded that the Siwertell road-mobile unloader was the best solution for its application.”
Siwertell road-mobile ship unloaders offer flexibility and environmental protection for operators that serve multiple ports or facilities with minimal or no infrastructure, the company adds.
“They have a worldwide reputation for reliability and are a popular choice for cement handlers,” Upchurch adds.
The trailer-based, diesel-powered system is fitted with dust filters and a double-bellows discharge arrangement with an automatic shifting function. It also features advanced digital technology for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Ozinga specialises in concrete and dry bulk materials. It has a network of truck, rail, barge, and ship terminals.
