Cams, an Italian company specialising in fixed and mobile crushing, screening, and shredding plants, will unveil its latest innovation – the Centauro 75.25 – at bauma 2025 Munich (7-13 April). The cutting-edge and smallest model in the Centauro range, combining the functions of a shredder, iron separator and screening machine, will be on Cams’ stand (FS.1213/1) throughout the exhibition.

The versatile Centauro 75.25 is designed for use directly at construction sites. It handles challenging materials, including wet or hard-to-process materials, while maintaining productivity under less-than-ideal working conditions. Its advanced design integrates a shredder, screen, and magnetic separator into a single unit.

Key features include a radio control system for total remote management and a hybrid diesel-electric power system or fully electric option. This model is specifically equipped with a 105kW FTP F36 Stage V diesel engine and a MeccAlte 165kVA alternator. Like other Centauro models, it can also be powered by renewable energy sources, such as solar power.

Technical specifications of the Centauro 75.25 include:
•             Primary shredder (FTR 750) measuring 750×900 mm
•             UVS 25/1 screen (2.500×1.000 mm)
•             Loading hopper (1.6m3) measuring 2.800×2.000 mm
•             Conveyors: 600mm for loading, 800 mm for fine material, and 500 mm for oversize material
•             Total weight: 15 tonnes

This new model, alongside Cams’ established range of products, reflects the company’s commitment to providing innovative, sustainable solutions in the recycling and construction industries.

At bauma 2025, Cams will also showcase its Centauro XL 150.69 APR solution. Being displayed in the customised colours of a Belgian customer, the Centauro XL 150.69 APR is dedicated to recycling milled asphalt.

The Centauro APR series is defined by its acronym: APR stands for Asphalt Pavement Recycler, indicating its ability to recover 100% of the asphalt, meaning all the material removed, milled, and slabs while preserving the original bitumen content. The APR stands out from models designed for recycling materials other than asphalt because it features a secondary shredder that operates at low revolutions, breaking down the material without altering its grain size distribution.
