Waste management solutions provider The Woods Waste Group says it is using its fleet of Case Construction Equipment machines to recycle 85% of the material that enters its yard.

The group –  based in Blackpool, north-west England – adds that the machines are used to move the commercial waste that arrives from construction and road building sites through crushing, washing and processing stages, after which the product can be sold again as several different grades of cleaned stone or soil.

The Woods Waste Group fleet currently includes three Case CX210 excavators (a CX210C, a CX210D Long Reach and a CX210D); a Case CX250D excavator; and a Case 1150M dozer.

The group says it owns and operates the only washing and gravity separation system in the area which produces a broad range of recycled washed stone and topsoil, with this then being delivered to customers across the country.

“We chose CASE machines because they deliver an unrivalled level of efficiency and reliability,” said Andrew Rayner-Porter, site manager at The Woods Waste Group. “Very rarely do any of our fleet of five machines require repairs or spare parts, and on the offchance they do, the service we receive is excellent.”

Anthony Bouvié, business director Northern Europe at CASE Construction Equipment, said that recycling is a key application for Case machines.

“It is reflective of the sustainability goals that are in place across the wider CNH Industrial Group, as we all look to reduce our environmental impact,” he added.
