Caterpillar welcomed more than 400 customers and dealers from across Europe, Middle East and Africa to its Construction and Quarry Technology Days in Málaga, Spain, with participants representing 15 Cat dealers over two weeks.
Hosted at the Caterpillar Demonstration & Learning Centre, the event brings together industry leaders to experience the latest innovations and explore how technology can deliver real outcomes on customer job sites.
The event opened with remarks from Kristin Gaskill, Caterpillar vice president of technology in Construction Industries, followed by a technology focussed product demonstration. Participants spent the following days being guided through five key areas of focus seeing these solutions up close in real-world applications – helping customers better understand how available solutions can be implemented in their own operations.
Gaskill, opened the event by reinforcing Caterpillar’s commitment to advancing technology and digital adoption across the industry: “Our focus is clear: accelerating technology and digital adoption to deliver measurable outcomes for our customers”
“This week in Málaga is a powerful example of how Caterpillar and Cat Dealers are working together to solve customer challenges using technology & digital solutions in the dirt and back office. Our goal is to ensure technology is easy to buy, easy to use and delivers value at scale. Ultimately, we’re here to help customers unlock new and different business outcomes by partnering with them for long-term success on the job site.”
The event experience was carefully created to lead with technology solutions that address key customer priorities – including Better Data for Better Decisions, Perfecting Payload, Safer jobsites, Remote Site Control with Cat Command and Cat 2D and 3D Grade technology. Together, these focus areas demonstrate how Caterpillar is helping solve customers’ toughest challenges by improving productivity, enhancing safety and reducing complexity in addressing the ongoing challenge of finding and retaining skilled operators across the industry.
Now in its fourth edition, Construction and Quarry Technology Days continue to play an important role in strengthening collaboration between Caterpillar, its dealers, and customers.
By creating space for open, practical conversations and peer-to-peer learning, the event enables customers to share experiences, build confidence in deploying new technologies and explore how Caterpillar solutions can be scaled across their operations with the support of the global Cat dealer network.
As digital transformation accelerates across construction and quarrying, events like Málaga Technology Days highlight how Caterpillar is bringing together industry leaders and helping customers turn data, connectivity and automation into measurable business outcomes.
