Concrete Batching Systems has taken a “huge step forward” thanks to landing a £500,000 contract in Abu Dhabi. The deal will see the Northern Ireland-based specialists in the design, manufacture and installation of turnkey concrete batching plants and mixing systems supply two complete and fully automatic batching systems to a major precast concrete product manufacturer in the Emirate.

The deal will see the Northern Ireland-based specialists in the design, manufacture and installation of turnkey concrete batching plants and mixing systems supply two complete and fully automatic batching systems to a major precast concrete product manufacturer in the Emirate.
This latest export deal for the company, which is exhibiting at Hillhead 2012, is said to be the direct result of a focus on developing opportunities in the Middle East over the past two years.
The new customer in Abu Dhabi has ordered the two machines to manufacture concrete products for Saudi Arabia.
Bryan Irwin, sales director of Concrete Batching Systems, said: “This contract is a huge step forward for us.”
