CDE continues to invest heavily in its infrastructure and team across Europe.

One of the leading global suppliers of sand and aggregate wet processing solutions for the waste recycling and natural processing sectors, the Cookstown, Northern Ireland-headquartered company has significantly expanded its European operations by investing in developing a new regional office and parts storage facility and recruiting almost 20 new industry experts to its new base.

CDE has made the latest investments in the region to strengthen its market position and build stronger, closer and more direct ties with its customers in Europe.

Last year, its aftercare division, CustomCare, formally partnered with Norwegian firm Nordic Bulk AS to offer a responsive, proactive and preventative aftercare service for customers across Scandinavia.

CDE’s new office is located in Eberstalzell, just outside Linz and complements its existing European office in Graz. The new team members will be based at Eberstalzell and bring the added resource to CDE’s European operation, fulfilling roles in design, engineering, aftercare and project management.

Matthew Bunting, CDE’s business development director, says: “Among the core pillars of our business are clear commitments to people and the planet. Investing in new talent helps us to fulfil our commitment to both as they bring fresh ideas, alternative perspectives and renewed energy in pursuit of our vision to create our best world, a ton at a time.

“Our new recruits are highly skilled and vastly experienced. Their knowledge and expertise will be hugely important to the future success of CDE in Europe, reinforcing an already robust and dynamic in-market team.”

He adds: “Our investments into new office and storage facilities are so that we can continue to support our ever-growing customer base. Every customer is one for life, and this investment allows us to build deeper relationships with them to provide world-class service.”
