CDE Global has added some experienced personnel to its team responsible for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region which the company says will allow for a greater regional focus within the area.
“There is huge potential for our equipment throughout the Middle East and Africa and our successes in the region to date are evidence of this. Our new team structure will allow us to meet the diverse demands throughout the region by providing in market representation from a highly qualified technical sales team,” says Enda Ivanoff, sales director at CDE.
Ruchin Garg is the CDE business development manager for the Gulf region, and will be based in the Middle East with a focus to build the CDE project portfolio in the sand and aggregates market.
In North Africa the business development manager is Aymen Bennour who has come through CDE’s own development programme, while in In Southern Africa CDE is represented by Des Crawford, who has over 30 years’ experience in the global construction materials and mining industry and is responsible for building the CDE project portfolio across the construction materials and mining divisions.
“The plants that we have already installed throughout the region are delivering significant efficiencies for our customers by maximising material recovery, minimising waste volumes and allowing for the production of washed sand and aggregates which command the highest commercial value,” says Mr Garg, who also reports that the company’s water recycling technologies are “a critical factor in the placing of new sand and aggregate washing plants in the region.”
In North Africa, Aymen Bennour says: “Across the region there are opportunities for us to work with sand and aggregate producers to enhance the efficiency of the operations, reduce costs and improve the quality of the final washed products,” while Des Crawford says the company is exploring “some exciting opportunities in the mining sector.”
