Cemex has supplied materials for road renovations along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, the most visited location at Grand National Park in Arizona, United States.
Cemex USA supplied 3,000m³ of concrete for the project, which involved repaving the most frequently used roads, intersections, bus pads, sidewalks, and wheelchair ramps by the park’s more than 5 million annual visitors.
Over a span of three months, Cemex participated in the Desert View Drive project in collaboration with a local pavin company, the US Forest Service, and the Grand Canyon National Park Service.
