Allu says it recently held the most well attended meeting of its global dealer network. The Finnish materials handling attachments manufacturer adds that close to 100 representatives from over 30 dealerships came to Finland for the ‘Licensed to sell’ event, held before the seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic became evident.

In recent years Allu has placed a great deal of emphasis in growing its dealer and distributor network. The company says that its network throughout Europe, Latin America, Africa, the US and increasingly SE Asia has continued to grow, enabling more customers to benefit from its Transformer and Processor attachment ranges.

During the two day meeting, the dealers attended a series of events aimed at providing them with the latest developments and application thinking concerning the Allu product lines. Of special interest to the dealers was a demonstration day where some of the latest Allu Transformers equipped with the new TS Blades were put through their paces.

In addition to seminars, demonstrations, workshops and a walk-through of the production process at the Pennala factory, Allu product and service experts were also on-hand to provide advice in order to help the dealers assist their customers maximize their investments.

“The dealer conference and meeting was the perfect occasion for us to meet the Allu people at the sharp end,” said Allu VP of sales Jeroen Hinnen. “I thought it was an excellent occasion, enabling us at Allu to not only help our partners, but also to listen to what they and their customers want from Allu.”

One of the highlights of the event was the global launch of the new Allu Crusher to the dealers. The three new crusher models have features designed to ease their use and optimise performance, whilst providing easy maintenance in the field.
