David Ball has been appointed by the UK-based Concrete Society as its new president after being a director of the organisation for the last five years. Ball takes on the presidency from Professor Ravindra Dhir. Commenting on his appointment Ball said, “I am honoured and delighted to be appointed as the Concrete Society’s new president in these particularly challenging times for construction.
