CRH has finalised the delisting of its shares from the London Stock Exchange, a move that will see its ordinary shares listed solely on the New York Stock Exchange.
“Further to the announcement made on March 13, 2026, CRH today confirms that the listings of its ordinary shares and its 7 per cent preference shares on the official list of the UK Financial Conduct Authority, and the admission to trading of those shares on the main market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange, have both been cancelled,” CRH said in its release.
The move aligns CRH’s investor base with its North American presence and earnings base, and the company is set to release its first-quarter 2026 results imminently.
CRH was admitted to the New York Stock Exchange’s S&P 500 index in late 2025. The S&P 500 tracks the performance of the 500 largest publicly traded companies in the US market.
“CRH is the largest provider of building materials in North America, and our unmatched scale, connected portfolio of businesses, and deep local relationships make our future compelling,” CRH chief executive officer Jim Mintern said.
“We are proud to be recognised as a leading U.S. company and look forward to continuing to modernise the critical infrastructure that will help power America’s economy for generations to come.”
