CRH Ventures has signed a partnership with North American-based Citylogix to collaborate on infrastructure project solutions.
Citylogix specialises in providing pavement condition assessments and enterprise asset management software which is supported by artificial intelligence. The solution uses LiDAR technology, high-definition cameras and advanced machine learning to generate digital twins of roadways which can inform decision-making in infrastructure projects.
CRH Americas division Nathan Creech said the technology will help customers make informed investment decisions as well as proactive maintenance and repairs.
“As the leading road paver in the US, we are innovating for smarter infrastructure to help our customers solve their greatest challenges and build the roads of the future. Our partnership and investment with Citylogix is a great step forward to achieving those goals,” he said.
CRH’s venture capital unit, CRH Ventures’ strategic investment will enable Citylogix to further expand its technology, which is already trusted by over 450 government entities throughout North America.
