Dangote Cement, the Nigerian headquartered, pan-Africa building materials giant, is reportedly set to raise its daily cement output volume from 2,500 tonnes in July 2018 to 5,000 tonnes or more to compete against increasing prices and the cement shortage in Tanzania. Jagat Rathee, the manager of Dangote Cement in Tanzania, is quoted in The Daily Cement saying that the company’s cement prices will remain unchanged.
