Finnish infrastructure company Destia’s net sales fell to €198 million in the second quarter of 2011.
The company’s profitability was weakened by project impairments in Norwegian operations as well as the failures of one rail maintenance contract and one rock construction project. As a result, Destia booked losses of €16.1 million.
Destia estimates that its net sales in 2011 will decrease, and its operating result will remain negative.
